It takes a whole community to put together our annual Fort Clark Days festival. After taking a few days 'down time,' we immediately begin planning for the next year's event.
In 2023, we welcomed more than 2000 visitors including almost 600 school children on Friday. We housed and fed 125 living historians. We had food vendors. The US Border Patrol, Game Warden, and our local EMS also had educational displays. The Border Patrol helicopter had a display and flew overhead.
As you might imagine, there are many costs associated with bringing in the living historians. These expenses must be paid before we can begin to raise money for the preservation and restoration of our historic district.
